Firewood and timber

Hardwick Estate sells its sustainably-managed, naturally-seasoned firewood from September to early April. Local delivery is free, but deliveries to parishes outside the immediate area are charged according to distance. Our logs are beech and ash, and a full load is approximately 2m3. We sell our firewood by the full-or half-load, and can also provide bags of kindling. A stacking service is also available for an extra charge.

Hardwick woods2Our firewood charges for the 2016/17 season are as follows:

Full load £150 / Half load £100 – Kindling £7 a bag – Stacking from £30 for a full load – Delivery £5.

We have a mobile wood mizer and sell small volumes of planked timber at competitive prices to local buyers. All orders must be placed well in advance to allow for seasoning and planking of timber if required. We can also sell whole lengths of cordwood in some cases.

Available timber includes: Western Red Cedar, Douglas fir, Ash, Beech, Larch, Oak and Cherry.
